IIWF Logo
The logo of the Istanbul International Water Forum is comprised of three water drops that combine and form a tulip that is recognized as a symbol of Istanbul.
The water drops of different sizes and colours represent the main sources of freshwater on Earth. The two large drops stand for groundwater and the water in glaciers and icecaps, whereas the smallest droplet that crowns the tulip symbolizes rivers and lakes, where most of the water we use in our everyday lives is contained in, but constitutes only about 0.3 percent of all the freshwater on Earth. The turquoise shades enriches the logo’s representation of Turkey.
