A short course program in “operation of wastewater treatment plants”, a critical component in the implementation of River Basin Management Plans, was organized by the Turkish Water Institute (SUEN) between 4-7 November 2019.

A group of 15 engineers from the municipalities and provincial directorates of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization within the Euphrates-Tigris basin joined the program. A field trip was organized to the Ambarlı Advanced Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant operated by Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (ISKI).

The participants received their certificates for course completion in the last day of the program.
