President of SUEN Prof. Ahmet Mete Saatci was given Outstanding Director in Health” award by the Health and Social Aid Foundation.

Prof. Saatci was granted with the “Outstanding Director in Health” award due to his academic studies and his work on environmental health and water issues at national and international scale.

Established in 1983, the Health and Social Aid Foundation provides funding for the development of institutions providing health and social services in Turkey, especially within the Ministry of Health. Since 2014, the Health and Social Aid Foundation has been giving four awards to people and institutions contributing to the development of health and social services, namely: "Outstanding Health Career Award", "Outstanding Director in Health Award", "Outstanding Person in Health Award", and " Health Journalism Award".
