SUEN is a member of the Global Consortium for Wastewater and Environmental Surveillance for Public Health (GLOWACON), established with the ultimate objective to create an international sentinel system for the early detection, prevention, and real-time monitoring of epidemic threats and outbreaks.

SUEN is co-leader of the working group of capacity building.
