SUEN President Prof. Dr. Lütfi Akca representing Türkiye and the World Water Council attended the 4th Baghdad International Water Conference held on 27-29 April 2024 by the Iraqi Ministry of Water Resources in the capital of Iraq, Baghdad. Delivering a keynote speech at the opening session of the conference, Prof. Dr. Akca discussed the aims and activities of the World Water Council, the 10th World Water Forum to be hosted by the Government of Indonesia and the World Water Council under the theme of “Water for Shared Prosperity”, the vision of cooperation pursued by our country in water strategies and the Water Efficiency Campaign activities carried out under the auspices of our Ministry.
Within the scope of the conference, Iraqi Minister of Water Resources Aun Thiyab Abdullah and Prof. Dr. Akca came together and shared their thoughts and wishes for the future of the two countries on water.
