Adopting the principle that training in the water sector is not an expense but a profitable and sustainable investment, the Bali Coalition to strengthen training in the water sector will be launched on the occasion of the 10th World Water Forum to be held between May 18-24 in Bali, Indonesia.
The aim of the Coalition, led by the International Office for Water, in which SUEN is a partner, is to promote training as an essential tool to accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and in particular access to drinking water and sanitation. Professional training is crucial to improving water resource management and strengthening the efficiency of water and sanitation services.
