SUEN participated in the WAITRO (World Association of Industrial and Technological Research Organizations) MENA Regional Forum hosted by TÜBİTAK (Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye) on 25-26 September 2023.

As part of the event, in which representatives of Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Qatar and Saudi Arabia from the region as well as international organizations took part, the issues of impact of climate change and food-water-energy security were highlighted and actions to strengthen cooperation in combating global and regional challenges were discussed.

On the second day of the forum, devoted specifically to the SDG6 (clean water and sanitation for all), SUEN, as the project partner, presented the outputs of the WATERMED4.0 project.
