SUEN participated in the Policy Advisory Committee and Managing Committee meetings held in the capital of Jordan, Amman on 14-16 March 2023.

As part of the meetings, SUEN shared Türkiye’s investments and efforts in the scope of water use efficiency at the national level. In addition, activities to be carried out by SUEN on water use efficiency in agriculture within the scope of the initiative were presented.

As of 2023, the initiative has broadened the scope of its activities from a narrow focus on water to a broader view of the intersection between water, energy, food, and ecosystems, accommodating all its activities under the umbrella of its Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus Programme.
